Our Safety Program

At Chapman, safety starts at the top and is embraced by all of our employees. Our comprehensive written safety program, along with excellent communication among all team members, have made our jobsites among the safest in the industry. Here’s a sampling of the best practices we use on every jobsite:

• Our full-time safety officer drives all of our safety standards, helping our supervisors develop project-specific safety and job hazard analysis plans and making regular trips to our jobsites for safety inspections.
• All of our construction supervisors are OSHA 30-Hour trained and CPR, First Aid, and AED certified.
• We kick off each project with a safety orientation and hold mandatory weekly safety & coordination meetings for the duration of the project.
• All jobsite occupants are required to wear hard hats and proper personal protective equipment at all times.
• At the end of the day, we leave all of our job sites spotless. A clean site is a safe site.
• We frequently engage the Massachusetts Department of Labor to conduct voluntary jobsite Construction Safety Inspections.
