To ensure compliance with the new USP 800 standards, Chapman completed the required updates to three pharmacies for Parkland Medical Center at their Salem Oncology Treatment Center, Derry Oncology Treatment Center and Derry Hospital. The renovations included new fan filters units, exhaust fans, a biopsy room, stainless steel doors with hand wave auto operators, and the installation of medication hoods.

Since the projects were completed in occupied buildings with active pharmacies, constant and clear communication with the staff was essential when coordinating MEP shutdowns and tie-ins to minimize the disruption to daily operations. Chapman implemented infectious control procedures and temporary protection to ensure the safety of all building occupants.
