Temple Beth Shalom Ground Breaking

On Friday September 25th, Needham’s Temple Beth Shalom broke ground on their year-long Mikdash Building Project. Rabbi Jay Perlman opened the thirty-minute ceremony by describing the history of the project. He then introduced Temple President Ed Zaval to thank and acknowledge the Board of Trustees, their past presidents, the Mikdash Development Team, the Mikdash Building Team, the Temple’s Staff Members, their Community Partners, and their professional partners for guiding them on their journey.

Chapman was selected as the construction manager, joining Fort Point Project Management and BKA Architects on this project, which will involve a 10,000 sf renovation of existing space and the demolition of an existing 7,000 sf classroom wing which will be replaced with a 20,000 sf ground-up addition to house the temple’s administrative, education, religious, and community programs.
