Safety Success

Safety remains our #1 priority at Chapman, which is why we are pleased to announce that, for our fourth consecutive year, we have reported zero incidents or illnesses on our annual OSHA 300A summary.

We attribute this success to our comprehensive safety program and to our outstanding employees who implement it tenaciously every day, on every project. All of our jobsites implement an array of standard safety measures, including weekly safety meetings, job hazard analyses, proper personal protective equipment, written site-specific safety plans, and pre-planning for high hazard tasks. Additionally, all of our Construction Supervisors are OSHA 30 and CPR/AED/First Aid certified.

Our safety program is led by Safety Officer, Eric Vogelsang, who has been with Chapman for more than twenty years. He is an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer and provides OSHA 30-Hour training to our employees. Eric’s hard work and dedication have ensured that Chapman consistently has one of the lowest e-mod safety ratings in the industry; a 0.76 this year. Congratulations to Eric and our entire team!
